Results: Cricket vs Paarl Gymnasium

The 1st team played a day/night game on Friday evening. Paarl Gim won the toss and elected to bat.

Somerset College bowled well and bowled Gim out for 150 runs, Kayle Tessendorf, the pick of the bowlers, took 2 for 26 in his 8 overs.

College started well getting College to 30 for the first wicket before a bowling change started a collapse that College never recovered from. Somerset College were bowled out for 81 runs thus losing by 69 runs.

The 2nd team batted  first and were bowled out for 87. Paarl Gim passed their score with only 1 wicket down.

The under 15A team bowled first and Paarl Gim scored an impressive 287 all out. Jacques Morris and Sam Henderson put on a 92 run partnership to get College into a good position. Morris went for 62 and Henderson moved past his 50. Sam Henderson scored another century, 105. Somerset College were bowled out for 234 thus losing by 53 runs.

In the under 14A game Paarl Gim battled first and were bowled out for 163. Somerset College were bowled out 57, lost by 106 runs.
